Bishop Brossart plans Derby raffle

ALEXANDRIA - Bishop Brossart High School is raffling off $10,000 as a fund-raiser on Kentucky Derby day. Only 250 tickets will be sold at $100 each, and the drawing will be 2 p.m. May 1.

Mount Notre Dame family dance

READING - "Daddy's Little Girl" is the theme of Friday's annual Father-Daughter Dance sponsored by Mount Notre Dame High School's Student Government.

The dance will run 8-11:30 p.m. at the Albert B. Sabin Cincinnati Convention Center, 525 Elm St., downtown.

Tickets are $30 per couple, $15 per person.

Fairfield kindergarten registration

FAIRFIELD - Kindergarten registration for the 2004-05 school year will be held from 5-8:30 p.m. Wednesday during the first of two open houses at the Fairfield Kindergarten Center, 4641 Bach Lane.

Parents should bring the child's birth certificate, immunization records, custody papers if appropriate, proof of residency and parental photo identification.

Parents may also register their children during the same hours April 24 at the kindergarten center. Those who can't make either open house may pick up forms at any elementary school, the kindergarten center or administrative office and return them to the New Student Welcome Center, 211 Donald Drive.

Auction to turn Badin into Vegas

HAMILTON - "Viva Las Vegas" is the theme of the second annual Badin High School Celebration auction set for 6 p.m. April 3 in the school gymnasium, 571 New London Road.

The cost is $125 per couple or $200 per couple for "patron" status. It includes champagne, valet parking and dinner.

St. Margaret Mary registration

NORTH COLLEGE HILL - Registration for the 2004-05 school year has begun at St. Margaret Mary School, 1820 W. Galbraith Road.

Our Lady of Rosary kindergarten

GREENHILLS - Our Lady of the Rosary will expand its kindergarten program from half-day to full-day beginning with the 2004-05 school year.

Registration for grades K-8 for the 2004-2005 school year has begun.

Cincinnati Christian art show

FAIRFIELD TWP. - The work of students at Cincinnati Christian Schools will be on display Saturday during the third annual Fine Arts Sampler.

The arts fair runs 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the secondary campus, 7474 Morris Road. The day includes an art show, performances by the choir and bell choir, and art demonstrations.
