The newest hit in the world of giant-screen movies is coming to the Museum Center's
Omnimax Theater April 30, with the arrival of NASCAR 3-D: The Imax Experience.
The inside look at stock-car racing and its history earned $21,580 per theater its first weekend March 19-21, and was No. 11 at the box office nationally. According to Omnimax chief Dave Duszynski, the film drew more calls from fans than any other title in 14 years.
The movie will not be shown in 3-D on the domed Omnimax screen, said spokesman Roger Pille.
NASCAR will run three to five times a day, while the current nature film Amazing Journeys continues, Pille said.
Tickets will be sold online at www.cincymuseum.com, and at the museum box office, 1301 Western Ave., 287-7000.
