WINTON PLACE - Police searched for three suspects late Tuesday in the shooting death of a man on Derby Avenue.
The shooting occurred about 8:10 p.m. near Circle Avenue, police said. The victim, who suffered a gunshot wound to the chest, was taken to University Hospital, where he died.
Witnesses told police they saw three men searching the victim before they fled in a dark-colored four-door Lincoln Continental. The name of the victim was not released.
