Having fun: As a latchkey child, comedian Kyle Grooms had to find ways to keep himself amused. Now, he's a stand-up guy entertaining others. On the tube: Tonight's edition of Viewfinder, a talk show about local film and video artists hosted by director/producer and "Media Maestro" Alphonzo Wesson III, spotlights the documentary Starting the Journey by Joseph O'Flynn, made to help parents understand if their children reveal their homosexuality. Also on the program are writer/director Chuck Swanson and composer Douglas Thornton, discussing their most recent work, Lost Hearts. 7:30 p.m. today, Channel 48.

Looking Ahead

24 hours out: Spring cleaning means inside and out. Kenton County is cleaning out back yards, front yards and anything else that looks like trash. Dumpsters are available at Kenton County Public Works, DRT Construction, Pioneer Park and the Piner Firehouse. All items except paint and household hazardous waste will be accepted.
