Dispatch chiefs to get training
Cincinnati police dispatch supervisors will receive more training next week in using the Amber Alert system, which is meant to help authorities and the public look for children who might have been abducted. A dispatch supervisor thought she sent such an alert to the media early Thursday, but the alert never went out. Nonetheless, a 2-year-old Burlington girl was found unharmed within 90 minutes. Her father faces kidnapping and burglary charges. Amber Alerts are meant to be used only for suspected stranger abductions.

They found Anthony Frakes, 17, in an alley while looking for the person who shot Willie Stuckey, 25. Frakes and Stuckey are Cincinnati's 16th and 17th homicide victims this year.
