New store offers wireless options

By Randy Tucker
The Cincinnati Enquirer

Wireless Toyz, a Michigan-based franchise that offers one-stop shopping for multiple brands of mobile phones and equipment, has opened its first store in Greater Cincinnati and plans several more within the next two years.

Unlike most stores that sell mobile phones and equipment for one or two brands, Wireless Toyz carries products from most of the major mobile operators except those that have an exclusive distribution plan.

In Greater Cincinnati, that means Wireless Toyz customers can compare the products and services of every mobile operator in the area except Cingular Wireless.

"We really are a cellular superstore in terms of what we offer," said Marc Fisher, the local franchisee who opened Wireless Toyz at 8581 Winton Road in Finneytown about three weeks ago.

Those carriers include Nextel, Sprint, Verizon, Cincinnati Bell, T-Mobile and even satellite service providers Dish Network and Direct TV.
