Severe-weather spotter training rescheduled
The Hamilton County Emergency Management Agency's Skywarn training session originally scheduled for March 11 has been rescheduled for Thursday. A representative from the National Weather Service will present the session for new severe-weather spotters and those seeking a refresher course.
The program is from 7-9 p.m. at Nagel Middle School, 1500 Nagel Road, Anderson Township. Reservations required: 851-7080.
'Who Wants to Marry My Dad' star to speak
FAIRFIELD - Fairfield businessman Don Mueller will talk about his experience on NBC's Who Wants To Marry My Dad? reality series at the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce annual dinner April 22.
Mueller, president and CEO of Mass Marketing Inc., a national map publisher, and his four adult children starred in the reality show. The series ended in August with the Glendale resident proposing to the woman selected by his childrenThey broke off the engagement two months later.
Tickets for the 6 p.m. reception and 7 p.m. dinner are $40 per person. For information call 881-5500.
Mason hires economic, parks-rec officials
MASON - The city has filled two vacant staff positions.
Rebecca Ryan has been hired as economic development manager. She will focus on business retention. Angela Gardner will be the Parks And Recreation Department program manager.
