Halle Berry's ear infection is wreaking havoc with her career.
The Oscar-winner's doctor forbid her from flying to Las Vegas to pick up the Female Star of the Year award last week at the ShoWest convention of movie exhibitors.
Now, her aural trouble has forced her to drop out of HBO's Lackawanna Blues, based on Ruben Santiago-Hudson's play about a riotous rooming house in New York. Berry remains executive producer.
Last year, the actress broke an arm while filming Gothika and was hurt on her forthcoming Catwoman when a light crashed into her head.
