Meet the author: Here are two chances to meet Sarah Willis, award-winning author of The Rehearsal and Some Things That Stay. She discusses and signs A Good Distance at 7 p.m. today at Books & Co., Town & Country Shopping Center, 350 E. Stroop Road, Kettering (937-298-6540) and 7 p.m. Tuesday at Joseph-Beth Booksellers, 2692 Madison Road, Norwood (396-8960). Both events are free.

A bloomin' deal: The Clermont County Convention and Visitors Bureau is offering discount tickets to the Cincinnati Flower Show at Coney Island, April 21-25. Dreams to dollars: The Inventors Council of Cincinnati and the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County present "From Dreams to Dollars: How to Make Money with Your Invention." Facing prejudice: Medical University of South Carolina professor Susan Benedict discusses "Killing While Caring: The German 'Euthanasia' Program." She covers the role of nurses and physicians in Nazi Germany's "euthanasia" program that resulted in the death of more than 100,000 patients with mental and physical disabilities. Gallery Hop

Experience history: The Vatican Mosaics and Rare Books Collection includes rare books and mosaics produced by the Vatican studios in Rome. The exhibit opened late last year to coincide with the Vatican exhibit at Cincinnati Museum Center. 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. through Wednesday, Athenaeum of Ohio, 6616 Beechmont Ave., Mount Washington. Multi-talented: The 35 fine arts majors at Northern Kentucky University have two multimedia exhibits this month. The bachelor of arts graduating seniors show their work now through Friday. Planning Ahead

24 hours out: Richmond, Ind., is an hour's drive from Cincinnati, but it's worth the trip to Earlham College to see the Girls Choir of Harlem. The female counterpart to the world-famous Boys Choir of the same city, the 50-voice choir performs classical choral pieces, show tunes, spirituals, gospel selections and songs made famous by female vocalists. 7 p.m. Tuesday, Carpenter Hall's Goddard Auditorium, 801 National Road, Richmond. 24 hours out: Those attending Prince's concert Tuesday night get a special treat. Although his new CD, Musicology, won't be in stores for another week, everyone who attends the 7:30 p.m. concert Tuesday at U.S. Bank Arena receives a free copy.
