Rescue remembered: Rabbi Herman Shaalman was rescued from Nazi Germany in 1935 by Hebrew Union College. In his lecture titled "Can Auschwitz Speak to Us Today?" Shaalman discusses his experiences combating prejudice 50 years later. Our hometown hero: At tonight's game against the Atlanta Braves, the Reds baseball will recognize the 50th anniversary of the start of the career of Chuck Harmon, the first African-American to play for the Reds.
