Clerk assaultedduring robbery
The Cincinnati Enquirer
MADISON TOWNSHIP - A clerk at the Woodsdale Drive-Thru was assaulted during an apparent robbery on Thursday.
When deputies responded to the store on Wayne-Madison Road about noon, they found the clerk, 45-year-old Melody Emerson of Middletown, on the floor with head and facial injuries, the Butler County Sheriff's Office said.
Witnesses reported seeing a white male in his early 30s, with short brown hair, wearing a blue pullover and blue pants flee on foot from the store. The man was picked up by a white van that went south on Woodsdale Road.
Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's office at 785-1300.
