GLENDALE - Eight finalists, including one Princeton administrator, have been named finalists in the Princeton City School District's search for a new superintendent.
They are:
Aaron Mackey, associate superintendent, Princeton schools.
Denise Callihan, superintendent at Tiffin (Ohio) City Schools.
William Capehart, superintendent, Boyd County (Ky.) Schools.
Gwendolyn Cooke, superintendent, Warrensville Heights, Ohio.
David Macali, superintendent, Ashland (Ohio) City Schools.
Michael Manor, superintendent, Shawnee Local Schools, Ohio.
Thomas Shade, superintendent, River Valley Local Schools, Marion, Ohio.
Sharon Zimmers, superintendent, Dublin (Ohio) City Schools.
The school board will conduct the first round of interviews May 3-5 and the second round the week of May 17. The board hopes to appoint the superintendent by the end of May.
Princeton received 30 applications.
The search began in February after Superintendent Don Darby announced he'll retire in July.
