ANDERSON TOWNSHIP - Police were searching Tuesday for men who robbed two convenience stores within 15hours.
About 2 p.m. Tuesday, a man who implied he had a weapon but did not show one robbed the EZ Food Mart at 1184 Asbury Road, Hamilton County sheriff's deputies said.
The man demanded money from the clerk and fled through a rear door.
The robber is described as a white male in his 20s to 30s, about 5-foot-5 with short blond hair, wearing a blue coat with red on the sides and bottom.
Monday night, a man who also did not show a weapon robbed the UDF store at 7197 Beechmont Ave., shortly after 11 p.m.
The man escaped with an undetermined amount of cash, the sheriff's office said.
The man entered the store about 11:10 p.m. and passed a note to the clerk telling her to give him the money from the register.
The robber told the clerk not to pull the alarm. The man fled the store on foot after the clerk gave him cash.
The man is white, 20-25 years old, 5-feet-7, weighs about 165 pounds and had brown hair and a goatee.
He was wearing blue jeans and a black coat.
No one was injured in either robber.
Anyone with information about either robbery is asked to call the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office at 825-1500 or Crime Stoppers at 352-3040.
