BROWN CO.
Search for body
is suspended
Rain forced Brown County sheriff's officials to call off a search Sunday morning for murder victim Carrie Culberson's body in Perry Township. Police began the latest hunt for Culberson, who disappeared in 1996, on Thursday, digging at a barn 40 miles east of Cincinnati. Police have not said what prompted the search. Culberson's former boyfriend, Vincent Doan, was convicted in 1997 of murder and kidnapping. He has refused to say what happened to the body.
