Procter & Gamble was named No. 2 on the list of the Best Corporate Citizens in America by Business Ethics magazine. One of the criteria for the award was how the company treats employees. P&G has been in the top five on the list for the last five years.

Cash-rebate stores shut down
A business that Indiana state officials contend operated an illegal payday loan scam under the guise of providing Internet access said it is closing its 11 Indiana stores. Cash-Connects.com said it was forced to shut down because of "the state's media campaign" against it. A Monroe Circuit Court judge ordered CashConnects.com to suspend a membership program that offered cash rebates to subscribers of its Internet service, which the company says is legitimate.
