Woman shot, boyfriend sought

BATAVIA - Police are looking for a Union Township man after his girlfriend was shot in the head with a handgun.

Jeffrey C. Theve, 34, was last known to live in an apartment in the 400 block of Yarbee Trace in Clermont County.

He's wanted on a felonious assault charge.

Tammy Owens, 21, was shot at a Batavia apartment Thursday night, the Clermont County Sheriff's Department said.

Owens was initially taken to Clermont Mercy Hospital, but is now at University Hospital in stable condition.
