Intelliseek starts Weblog tracker

First there was the Web. Then came Weblogs.

Now Intelliseek of Over-the-Rhine says it has launched www.BlogPulse.com, a free search-and-tracking tool to measure and rank chatter about issues, people, phrases and links on the million-plus blogs. Bloggers themselves can use the site to determine hot blogs and the popularity of their own blogs.

Data-processing unit gets deals

The data-processing unit of Cincinnati's Fifth Third Bancorp has landed two deals that will greatly boost the size of its businesses.

Fifth Third Bank Processing Solutions will process credit, debit and electronic-benefits transfer payments for CVS pharmacy stores, and credit-card transactions for the Wendy's Old Fashioned Hamburgers chain.

The deals will increase the processing unit's annual transaction volume by 212 million and add up to $10.6 million in annual revenue.
