Actress Kate Beckinsale and Underworld director Len Wiseman were married in a small weekend ceremony at the Bel-Air Hotel.

The couple recited wedding vows over the weekend in what publicist Troy Nankin described as an "intimate" ceremony.

It was the first marriage for both.

Beckinsale's films include Van Helsing, Underworld and Pearl Harbor.

Wiseman, a music video director for En Vogue and Megadeth, made his feature-film debut with last fall's Underworld. He's now working on an untitled sequel with Beckinsale again in the starring role.
