Oasis is taking its fascination with the Beatles a step further - by enlisting Zak Starkey, son of former Beatle Ringo Starr, to play drums.
Band member Noel Gallagher said on British Broadcasting Corp. radio that Starkey had been working with Oasis in the studio and would join them on tour and play in front of 150,000 people at the Glastonbury Festival next month.
"We've known Zak for a while and we asked him if he'd play on a few songs and he said yeah, and he has done (it) and it's been absolutely fantastic," Gallagher said.
"He's a good boy, he's got a good haircut ... good shoes - which is important."
Gallagher and his brother Liam are unabashed admirers of the Beatles. Liam Gallagher even named his son Lennon.
