Man convicted for Liberty St. shooting
A Hamilton County Common Pleas Court jury found a Kennedy Heights man guilty of killing David Brown, 29.
The jury convicted Pele Bradford, 25, on Wednesday of murder and having a weapon. Bradford had a prior felony conviction.
Prosecutors say on Jan. 2 at 3:30 p.m., Bradford chased Brown through traffic on Liberty Street, firing shots at him with a .380 handgun because he had seen Brown talking to his girlfriend.
Brown was hit with bullets several times and died in the street, prosecutors told the court.
At sentencing in June, Bradford faces up to life in prison with eligibility for parole after 23 years.
