U.S. Bank has named a new executive to oversee most of its local branches.
Catherine M. Myers, 42, will serve as senior vice president of retail banking in Cincinnati.
Her duties will include running U.S. Bank's branches in Cincinnati; Dayton; Northern Kentucky; Louisville; and Nashville, Tenn., including 800 employees and 117 branches with $3.5 billion in deposits.
The Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati part of that region includes 450 employees and 60 branches with consumer deposits of $2 billion and 150,000 consumer accounts.
Minneapolis-based U.S. Bank operates the area's third-largest bank with about $8.3 billion in total deposits and 115 branches, behind Fifth Third and Provident, both based in Cincinnati.
Myers, most recently head of retail bank administration for the bank in St. Louis, will report to Kathy Beechem, executive vice president of retail administration for U.S. Bank nationally. Myers replaces Paul Hendrick.
Myers began her career as a branch manger in 1992 with U.S. Bank in Butler County.
"We have a great franchise in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, and I'm looking forward to taking it to the next level," Myers said.
