The Enquirer will recognize the top students of the Class of 2004 with special coverage next month.
If your son or daughter has been named high school valedictorian, salutatorian or is among the "top students" being honored by their school, please let us know. The names should be sent to Dave Hofmeister, via e-mail at dhofmeister@enquirer.com, or by mail at the Enquirer, 312 Elm St., Cincinnati, 45202.
The deadline for submission is June 4. School administrators also are encouraged to submit the names of top students.
School buildings in planning stage
School board members voted unanimously Monday evening to approve the first design phase for a $28 million project to build two new schools and expand the high school. Madeira Superintendent Stephen Kramer said theproject will include building new Dumont and Sellman schools. The board held off a vote on a plan to send 440 Madeira students to a nearby Milford school during construction because details of the agreement are not final. The center and left lanes of northbound Interstate 75 will be closed between Ohio 63 and Ohio 122 in Warren County from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. tonight and Wednesday.

Choir to perform in Washington
The A Cappella Choir of Princeton High School has been invited to perform with the National Philharmonic Orchestra in Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C. The location was incorrect in a story Saturday. State doesn't own E-check stations
Two million vehicles are tested annually at E-Check stations in Ohio at a cost of $39 million. The stations are not owned by the state. An April 20 column by Peter Bronson contained incorrect information.
