Pringles to feature trivia on snacks
Procter & Gamble Co. on Thursday unveiled Pringles Prints, a new version of its successful snack Pringles. P&G is teaming with Hasbro Inc. to use 2,400 questions from Trivial Pursuit Junior printed on the snacks. Other versions feature fun facts and jokes. The product will be available on store shelves starting this summer.
PowerNet adds four more states
PowerNet Global Communications, a Fairfield-based telecommunications company, has expanded its recently launched residential local service offering to four more states. Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia join the seven states including Ohio where PowerNet launched the service through resellers and affinity groups in April.
Cincom founder finalist for honor
Tom Nies, founder and CEO of Springdale software developer Cincom Systems Inc., is a finalist in the technology category of Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year program. Former winners include Michael Dell of Dell computers and Steve Case of AOL. Nies, a former IBM salesman, started Cincom in 1968 with $600. Privately held Cincom has 18 consecutive years of revenues in excess of $100 million.
