A Pleasant Ridge man is accused of using his business to cheat two elderly Norwood women out of their homes.
Both women discovered the alleged fraud when they saw the man's name on tax papers sent to the homes.
A Hamilton County grand jury indicted Ronald Brooks, 38, on two charges of theft from an elderly person.
Brooks ran Action Funding Group, at 5234 Montgomery Road in Norwood, Hamilton County prosecutors said.
Brooks has not yet been arrested, according to court records.

But Johnson then went into a yard, where a pet dog bit him.
He was booked into the Hamilton County Justice Center on a misdemeanor charge of obstructing official business.

Sylvia Scherer, a 64-year-old Lockland resident, remained in critical condition at University Hospital Friday as a result of Thursday's six-car pileup in Carthage that police blamed on a man fleeing police.
Four others, including a 1-year-old girl, were treated and released from area hospitals.
Police identified the suspect as Gary Miles, 31, of Avondale, who was wanted on 12 misdemeanor and four felony warrants. Miles was treated at University Hospital and then jailed in the Hamilton County Justice Center. He faces two more felony charges - vehicular assault and failure to comply with a police officer.
The crash happened in the 1200 block of Seymour Avenue about 6:20 p.m. Thursday. Cincinnati Police tried to stop Miles' sport-utility vehicle near the Winton Terrace housing complex in Winton Hills.
Officers say they discontinued the pursuit, but Miles' vehicle failed to stop at the Seymour Avenue-Paddock Road intersection and hit a utility pole.
