Ruckman rows toward Athens

Wyoming High School graduate Greg Ruckman and his rowing partner, Steve Tucker (Mooresville, Ind.), swept the finals of the men's lightweight double sculls Saturday at the Olympic Team Trials in West Windsor, N.J.
In their event, the United States did not earn an automatic qualification slot for the Olympics at the 2003 World Championships.
Therefore, Ruckman and Tucker will have to qualify for the Games by finishing in the top four at the Olympic Qualification Regatta June 13-16 in Lucerne, Switzerland.
Ruckman competed in the lightweight four in the 2000 Olympics; his boat finished sixth in Sydney.
