Promotions and new on the job

• Gordon W. Wright has joined PNC Advisors, Institutional Investment Group as vice president and senior business development officer. Wright will be responsible for institutional investment management sales in the Ohio/Northern Kentucky market. He comes to PNC from Provident Investment Advisors, where he was vice president of institutional sales since 2001. He earned a bachelor's degree from Denison University and a master's degree from Boston University.

• Emily A. Kirtley has been appointed an associate in the law firm of Deters, Benzinger & LaVelle, P.S.C., creditor practice, banking, bankruptcy and commercial litigation group. Kirtley will be based in the Crestview Hills office. She obtained a law degree from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2003 and a bachelor's degree in political science from Northern Kentucky University. She was an associate attorney with Coley & Associates in Cincinnati.

• Terri Hansel has joined Marketing Research Services Inc. as manager, automation and innovation; Aaron Gulley joined as project director; Jalea Stowers, associate project director; Kathy Cope, coder; and Ruth Hadassah Baca, staff assistant.

• Christine Herche has joined The Ohio Valley Group, an affiliate of New England Financial, a Boston-based financial services company, as a financial representative.


• Kelley Brothers Roofing Inc. has received the 2004 Master Contractor Award and the President's Club Award from Firestone Building Products Co. Kelley Brothers Roofing is one of only 35 roofing firms to earn the President's Club Award this year.

• Eric D. Bender received the 2003 Volunteer Lawyer of the Year Award at the annual meeting of the Cincinnati Bar Association. The Volunteer Lawyers for the Poor Foundation presented the award.

• The Tourism Council of Greater Cincinnati has recognized Wendy Garrett, housing assistant for the Greater Cincinnati CVB, as a 2004 ROSE (Recognition of Service Excellence) Award winner.

• Tina Hebel, long-time employee of CET, Greater Cincinnati's PBS member station, has been honored as the 2004 PBS Traffic and Operations Professional of the Year.
