Staff/Wire reports
Homebound seniors in western Hamilton County are getting house calls. Christ Hospital's Senior Medical House Call program sends a doctor to visit once a month, or more frequently if needed.
The service focuses on Groesbeck, Mount Healthy and College Hill. This is the second of three planned home programs launched by the Health Alliance of Greater Cincinnati. Since September 2002, seniors in Northern Kentucky have been visited by doctors associated with the St. Luke hospitals. This summer, Fort Hamilton Hospital plans to launch a similar program in Butler County. For information about the Christ Hospital program, call 513-585-4040.
For information about the St. Luke program, call 859-962-4601.
