• Evanston Community Council Memorial Day Parade, 10 a.m. today, 3204 Woodburn Ave. Route: south on Woodburn, east on Fairfax, north on Evanston, west on Hewitt, ending at Hackberry. 861-9417.

• Monument Cabin Memorial Day Celebration, 10 a.m. today, High Street, downtown Hamilton. Parade and talk to costumed volunteers about life during the days of Fort Hamilton. Free. 867-5835.
