Worth watching
The Last Ride, 8 and 10 p.m., USA.
This high-octane movie needs one of those signs saying "kids, don't try this at home."
An auto show, for instance, really wants you to just look at the cars. You hop in one and drive it wildly around the pavilion. Well, you shouldn't do it unless you're a great driver and really cute. In this film, everyone is.
Chris Carmack (The O.C.) plays the handsomely brooding Matt. Nadine Velazquez plays his girlfriend J.J., a mechanic who looks splendid in a white muscle shirt.
Matt idealizes his grandfather (Dennis Hopper) and late grandmother, who protested the Vietnam war by stealing military payrolls and driving getaway cars. Now gramps is getting out of prison - kids, don't steal military payrolls - and revenge is near.
The early portions of the film have way too much strident posturing. The entire movie becomes a product placement for Pontiac GTOs. Underneath that, however, is an overdrive adventure that does provide some summer fun.
Enterprise, 8 and 9 p.m., Channel 25. Now that Enterprise has been renewed for next season, fans can relax and enjoy the reruns. That starts with the third season-opener, in which a race of aliens attack Earth. In the second episode, computer problems leave the ship vulnerable to pirates.

The first views the 507th Parachute Infantry Regiment, returning to the French spot where it leaped behind enemy lines. The second looks at the invasion's final preparations.
My Wife and Kids, 8 and 8:30 p.m., Channels 9, 2. Here's two-thirds of the three-parter that sent the family to Hawaii on vacation.
The Drew Carey Show, 9 and 9:30 p.m., Channels 9, 2. After making a two-year commitment to the show, ABC decided it didn't really care about the final season after all. As a result, the show has been on a shelf for a year; now it's finally being shown as a summer series.
In tonight's first episode, Drew is matchmaking for his mom. In the second, he gets overzealous at a soccer game.
Law & Order, 9 and 10 p.m., Channels 5, 22. In the first rerun, the victim is a grief counselor who claimed he could talk to the dead. In the second, it's a star witness.
