Appeals court allows Zuern execution
The U.S. 6th Circuit Court of Appeals ordered the execution of William Zuern to go forward, a spokeswoman for the Ohio Attorney General's Office said Friday.
Zuern, 45, convicted of murder in the 1984 stabbing death of a Hamilton County jailer, is to die by lethal injection at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Last month, U.S. District Judge Walter Rice in Dayton temporarily delayed Zuern's execution. Late Friday, a three-judge 6th Circuit panel vacated that stay.

DELHI TOWNSHIP - Police released a sketch Friday of the teen-ager they want to talk to.
Police want to ask the teen - described as skinny, sandy-haired and about age 15 to 17 - about the circumstances leading up to the death of Timothy Wilson, 39, who collapsed Sunday night on Delhi Pike.
Family members have said Wilson was chasing a teen suspected of stealing his daughter's motorized red scooter.
Wilson's funeral Mass was Friday.
Police ask anyone with information to call 922-0060 or Crime Stoppers at 352-3040.
Hearing delayed for slaying suspect, 14
A hearing for a 14-year-old boy accused of killing David Hutchinson May 13 in Over-the-Rhine was postponed Friday.
Prosecutors told Hamilton County Juvenile Court Judge Thomas Lipps they needed more time.
The hearing, which is the first step to determine if the teen will be tried as an adult, was rescheduled for June 14.
The boy is facing juvenile charges of aggravated murder and aggravated robbery.
Prosecutors will ask Lipps to move the case to adult court.
