Rear Admiral T. L. McCreary, will talk about the military's embedded reporters program at a June 17 dinner lecture at the Montgomery Inn, 9440 Montgomery Road.
McCreary, a 1978 graduate of Northern Kentucky University, has been the Navy's Chief of Information since July 2003. The Greater Cincinnati Council of the Navy League of the United States is sponsoring the dinner. Tickets ($15 individual or $120 per table of eight) are available through the league. Software company plans charity sale
UGS, a software services company, will host an outdoor market June 19. Vendors will be selling crafts, lawn equipment, office furniture and baked goods to raise money for charitable organizations or community-oriented programs. The rain-or-shine family event will run from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in the parking lot of UGS, 2000 Eastman Drive, Milford. Information: 576-2100.
