A free program to provide senior citizens with information about Medicare prescription drug cards is 10-11:30 a.m. Thursday at Twin Towers, 5342 Hamilton Ave., College Hill.
The session is designed to help seniors understand changes in Medicare, select the Medicare prescription drug plan best for them and explain the benefits and weaknesses of the new legislation. Information: 541-4109.
Keep your home pool safe

Paddlefest looks for volunteers
Organizers of Paddlefest 2004 are seeking about 200 volunteers to help with this year's event, the largest canoe and kayak festival in the Midwest, to be held July 9-10. More than 2,000 people are expected to enjoy two days of camping and fun on the Ohio River. Paddlefest features a 6-mile canoe and kayak trip from the Four Seasons Marina off Kellogg Avenue to Sawyer Point downtown. All proceeds benefit the Ohio River Way, a nonprofit group dedicated to protecting the river. Volunteers receive a T-shirt and free admission to all Paddlefest events. Traffic watch
The closure of the two left turn lanes onto Interstate 71 northbound and southbound off Montgomery Road continues. Traffic may access southbound I-71 by continuing westbound on Montgomery to southbound Kenwood Road. Traffic seeking access to northbound I-71 should continue westbound on Montgomery to eastbound Ronald Reagan Highway.
