Freedom Center seeks choir volunteers

Freedom Center

Vocal volunteers are being accepted through the end of this month for 1,000-voice choir to perform during Freedom Center ceremonies in August. Come to the weekly rehearsal, 6:30-8:30 p.m. today, House of Joy Community Church, 5101 Hamilton Ave., College Hill. Free. 419-2100.

Forbidden Broadway

Gerard Alessandrini's scathing homage to Broadway's biggest shows opens 8 p.m. today. Continues through Sunday, Aronoff Center, Jarson-Kaplan Theater, 650 Walnut St., downtown. $41-$49. 241-7469.

DVD Picks: Bad Santa, the twisted Billy Bob Thornton Christmas comedy that turned into a surprise hit, is available on video shelves today in both R-rated and unrated versions, says Enquirer film critic Margaret A. McGurk. Also new is the Johnny Depp thriller Secret Window.
