The Cincinnati Opera Guild ushered in the opera's Summer Festival with two fund-raising dinners.
Chaired by Joanie Lotts and Barbara Harshman, the black-tie optional evenings included cocktails, premiere performances of Donizetti's The Daughter of the Regiment and dinner provided by Creations by Melody. Scott Atkinson of Ivy Floral and Event Designers created the perfect decor for the evenings.
About 350 guests purchased the $75-per-person tickets. The evenings included a raffle offering of a Judith Leiber handbag (courtesy of Scott Reising/Hyde Park Jewelers), dinner at the Palace and an overnight stay at the Cincinnatian Hotel and a gentleman's gift package from Saks Fifth Avenue.
