Idol dreams: American Idol finalist Diana DeGarmo's single Dreams/ Don't Cry Out Loud/ I Believe (RCA; $5.49). More, E2

Street rap: G Unit member Lloyd Banks' first solo effort Hunger for More (Interscope Records; $13.98).

Good medicine: The Cure returns after a four-year break with its self-titled album (Geffen Records; $19.98).

Country collection: Dwight's Used Records collects Dwight Yoakam performances from tribute albums and duets released by the other artist (Koch Records; $17.98).

Mo' Brandy: Returning with her fourth album, Brandy releases Afrodisiac (Atlantic; $18.98).

DVD picks: Cold Mountain, the sprawling Civil War epic starring Nicole Kidman and Jude Law, is this week's top home video release, says Enquirer film critic Margaret A. McGurk. Also new on DVD is a re-mastered 30th anniversary edition of the classic Mel Brooks comedy Blazing Saddles, which consistently ranks among the nation's favorite laugh-fests. Extras include Black Bart, a TV pilot that inspired the movie.
