5/3 won't drop Davis over photos
Fifth Third Bank said Wednesday it is not reconsidering the use of actress Paige Davis in its advertising after she was caught on film at a New York City fund-raiser hamming it up as a strip-club dancer and allowing men to stuff dollar bills into her clothes. The photographs were published in the tabloid Star - then mentioned in a New York Post gossip column. Davis, the Trading Spaces host who does TV spots for the Cincinnati-based bank, admitted she flashed the crowd for fun at the Broadway Bares charity event in New York City June 20. The event raised more than $500,000 for AIDS-related causes. Fifth Third spokeswoman Stacie Haas said the bank would not comment on the photos.
