NEWPORT - The Newport Motorcycle Rally is hosting three bike rides this weekend.
The first run, the Brighton Center Poker Run, is at 12:30 p.m. today. It is a 90-mile ride from Newport to Augusta and back. The registration fee is $25.
The second, the Holy Trinity School Patriot Run, kicks off at noon Sunday. Riders will leave from the festival site and complete their trip at the Grand Victoria Casino in Rising Sun. Riders will get a T-shirt, $5 gambling money and a lunch discount. The registration fee is $20.
Also Sunday, a third run, the Independence Bike Ride, will leave from Mansion Hill Tavern, 502 Washington St. The ride is sponsored by the Florence Elks, and registration is from 9:30 to noon Sunday. The first wave will leave the tavern at 11 a.m.
