WVXU-FM hosted a members' event to honor former NPR All Things Considered host Bob Edwards.
Approximately 150 guests attended the $300 reception and dinner at the Marriott Hotel in Covington.
Chaired by WVXU Development Bob Hanneken, the evening provided guests the chance to meet Edwards
Emcee Nick Clooney shared several of stories of media legend Edward R. Murrow, whose biography by Edwards was just released. Guests were photographed with Edwards and were presented with lithograph reproductions of cartoons depicting Edwards by the Enquirer's Jim Borgman and the Cincinnati Post's Jeff Stahler.
In attendance were Jeff and Kathy Besecker of Hunt Club Clothiers, which sponsored the evening, as were Mark Tipton, host of WVXU's Afternoon Audiosyncrocies and Jim King, WVXU director of broadcasting.
