There's music in the air

Concerts today:

Live, at Riverbend: Red, White & Boom! John Morris Russell conducts the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra with New York Voices, guest artists. On TV: A Capitol Fourth, from the West Lawn of the United States Capitol. The National Symphony Orchestra, Erich Kunzel, conductor; with American Idol runner-up Clay Aiken, Vince Gill and Amy Grant. Tributes to Ray Charles, the Bee Gees and the 150th birthday of John Philip Sousa. 8 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. today, Channels 48 and 16.

Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular: 9 p.m., Channels 5, 22. American Idol Fantasia, Sheryl Crow, Robert Redford, Sylvester Stallone and Donald Trump.

The Boston Pops 2004 July Fourth Spectacular, conducted by Keith Lockhart, with rock legend David Lee Roth, Broadway's Jennifer Holliday and the winner of the Pops' first ever talent contest for amateur singers, POPSearch 2004. 10 p.m., Channels 12, 7.
