The Enquirer

A Fort Thomas police officer was injured Monday when he became entangled in the door of a car that sped away during traffic stop.

Sgt. Jamie Gadzala suffered a knee injury when he fell from the car as it fled the BP station parking lot at Highland and Grand avenues, said Fort Thomas Police Lt. Mark Dill. He said police arrested the driver, whose name had not been released Monday night, in Southgate after chasing him by car and on foot.

Letter writer misidentified
