New Releases

Stone soul: Following up her acclaimed 2001 album, Angie Stone returns with Stone Love (J-Records; $18.98)

Laugh track: Four-time Grammy nominee Jeff Foxworthy's latest comedy album is Have Your Loved Ones Spayed or Neutered (Warner Bros.; $18.98)

One door: The Doors' keyboardist Ray Manzarek's new solo effort is Golden Scarab (Lemon Records; $17.98)

DVD picks: The best bet this week is the touching Monsieur Ibrahim, with Omar Sharif as a wise Persian man befriending a Jewish teenager in 1960s Paris, says Enquirer film critic Margaret A. McGurk. Also out on DVD is a tidy short course in an influential genre, called Shadows, Lies, and Private Eyes - The Film Noir Collection, Vol. 1, featuring The Asphalt Jungle, Gun Crazy, Murder My Sweet, Out of the Past and The Set-Up.
