Going Out


In celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Beatles' American debut, an exhibit of Beatles memorabilia is on display 9 a.m.-6 p.m. today at the Main Library, downtown. The exhibit continues through Aug. 29. At 1 p.m. today, Dusty Rhodes and former music reporter David Bracey relive the Beatles' first visit to Cincinnati during a panel discussion in the Atrium.

That Sixties Band and Wayback Machine perform acoustic Beatles music at 2 p.m. today, also in the Atrium. 800 Vine St., downtown. Free. 369-6900.

Sidewalk sale

The Newport Business Association is sponsoring a Second Saturday Sidewalk Sale, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. today, to showcase businesses, shops and restaurants on Monmouth Street between Third and 11th streets. (859) 655-9419.

Art opening
