Promotions and new on the job

• Richard J. Miller has joined CDS Associates Inc., Engineers, Architects, Planners, and Surveyors as group director of highway/structures. Miller is a graduate of Northeastern University and holds professional engineering registration in multiple states. His responsibilities as group director include overall responsibility for highways/structures projects, managing the group staff, and business development.

• Lora Elder has been named manager, brand relations, for Quantum Loyalty Systems, provider of customer loyalty programs and reward currencies.

• Juan Siso has been named store director at Wild Oats Markets Inc.'s new Mason store.

• The following have joined The Creative Department: Mike Adams, vice president and director of creative department interactive; Gregg Meade, senior art director; and Galite Silverman, junior art director. Michael Lupariello rejoined as associate creative director.

• Rene Wukich has been appointed district vice president for the Northern Kentucky operations at Insight Communications.

• Mark Arnett has been named technical director for Definitive Solutions Co. Inc., visual communication and events division; Roger Cluxton, executive producer; Steve Kiener, operations manager; and Michael Sliper, director of creative services.

• Angela Maynard has been named vice president and chief regulatory compliance officer for LexisNexis.

• Karen E. Payne has joined Berry Network Inc. as director of marketing. Payne is responsible for direct research, communication, marketing and creative design. She was director in the customer relationship management service group for The Reynolds and Reynolds Co. in Dayton. She has more than 19 years' experience in launching, expanding and managing products in business-to-business and business-to-consumer markets. She received a bachelor's degree from Wright State University and master's degree from Colorado State University.

• Bob Herd has joined Flynn & Co. PSC Inc. as vice president, accounting services; Rich Lozier, vice president, management support services; and Jeff Nye, manager, providing tax and audit services.

• Suzanne Moody has been named assistant to the director of information services at the Greater Cincinnati Health Council.

• Scott Cooper has joined Grand Victoria Casino & Resort as general manager of the casino and resort property.

• J.B. Brookbank and Bill Kopp have joined The Graphic Wire Inc., a local print management company, as salespeople.

• Steve McCabe has joined Integrated Fund Services Inc., a member of Western & Southern Financial Group, as vice president of fund accounting and financial reporting.

• Maria Fugazzi and Christina Reinersman have joined Brashear Bolton Architects as intern architects.


• Corporate Resources LLC was the Top Producing Recruiting Firm within Top Echelon Network, a national network of recruiters, for 2003. The members of Corporate Resources include Jack Better, Cindy Andrew Cordell, Carol Brinkman, Tom Heeney, Chris Ramsay and Dan Winters. Heeney was the #2 Top Producing Individual Recruiter for 2003.

• Lou Metro, owner of 41 Domino's Pizza stores in the Greater Cincinnati and Dayton areas, has been awarded the Domino's Pizza Gold Franny Award for operational excellence.

• HSR Business to Business has received the Public Relations Society of America Silver Anvil Award.

Name change

• American Packaging Supply Co. of Cincinnati, located at 226 Circle Freeway Drive, has changed its name to Shippers Supply Co.
