Disabilities board to decide on alcohol sales
BATAVIA - The Clermont County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities will decide tonight whether a new golf course near its facility in Owensville may sell alcoholic beverages. The new Golf Club at Stonelick Hills is located directly behind the Thomas A. Wildey School in Owensville, and the board that operates the school must approve whether alcohol can be sold within 500 feet of the school. The meeting will be at 7 p.m. tonight at the board's offices at 4321 Grissom Drive in Batavia.
Health Alliance sells occupational centers
The Health Alliance of Greater Cincinnati has sold its four OccNet occupational health centers to Texas-based Concentra Health Services Inc. for $400,000.
The OccNet offices in Florence, Erlanger, Oakley and Sharonville employed 54, all of whom were hired by Concentra.
Milford Firefighters Club raises $17,000
MILFORD - The Milford Community Firefighters Club raked in $17,000 by holding a weekend Texas Hold 'Em Tournament, which benefits the Milford Fire Department.
The event, which also featured several side live action games, was planned and organized by Texasholdemevents.com
The club plans another tournament October 22-24
IceFest 2005 announces theme
