Anthropologist to study remains

PETERSBURG, Ky. - The state forensic anthropologist, Dr. Emily Craig, is scheduled to arrive in Boone County this morning to examine the skeletal remains uncovered Thursday at a residential construction site.
Workers digging a foundation for the house at 3004 Front St. found the human bones about 2:45 p.m., said Tom Scheben, spokesman for the Boone County Sheriff's Department. What appeared to be a leg bone and pieces of skull were uncovered about 5 feet underground.
