Bengals, NFL want decision to be reviewed
The Bengals and National Football League are challenging a federal judge's decision Monday allowing Hamilton County to sue them over construction of Paul Brown Stadium. U.S. District Judge S. Arthur Spiegel was in "plain error" when he said a county taxpayer's lawsuit was proper and that the county could take it over, attorneys for professional football said in a petition to the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals on Thursday. They want the appeals court to dismiss the county's antitrust suit. "I'd call it a Hail Mary pass," said Stanley Chesley, attorney for the county.

The group will also honor local companies at a luncheon at the Westin Hotel. The banners will be sent to troops in Iraq, Afghanistan, Bosnia and around the world.
