Life after vampires



Jeff Barklage - Already a successful commercial cinematographer when he agreed to lend a hand on Vamps, Barklage has since worked on several local projects, including the feature films Artworks and April's Fool, as well as The Naked Man and The Year That Trembled. Most recently, he shot the action-adventure film Ultimate Force in Croatia. The movie is set for European distribution; an American release is pending.

Rob Calvert - Featured in three B-Plus productions, he remains a WEBN on-air personality known as Spam Boy.

Jeff Dunn - Operating a camera (and other miscellaneous chores) on Vamps inspired Dunn to write and direct his own low-budget horror flick, Zombie Cult Massacre. He is now working on a science-fiction adventure.

Daniel Frazier - Another crew volunteer who went on to direct his own horror film, Avenging Disco Vampires, he now owns a video business in Kentucky.

Jennifer Huss - Post-Vamps, she appeared in a few other low-budget films, but passed on Vamps 2. A graduate of University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music, in recent years she has concentrated on her singing career, performing at local nightclubs and working on her first solo album.

Lorissa McComas - The Columbus native earned fame in 1991 as a Playboy model, and began making low-budget films. Vamps was her fifth movie; she has since appeared in 33 more.

Paul Morris - In addition to the two Vamps flicks, he appeared in four other straight-to-video horror films. Now living in upstate New York, he has expanded his acting career to live theater and TV.

Amber Newman - After Vamps: Deadly Dream Girls, the Tipp City, Ohio, native went on to perform in nearly 30 cable and video movies of the R-rated erotic/horror variety, among them Scandal: Body of Love, Dungeon of Desire and Stripper Wives.

Jenny Wallace - An alumna of the School for Creative and Performing Arts as well as a former stripper, she has appeared in several more low-budget horror films, including Zombie Cult Massacre.
