• Regina Ray has been named branch manager of the Northgate office at Peoples Community Bank. Ray has more than eight years' banking experience. She has been with Peoples Community Bank since August 2003.

• Leslie Woten has joined Justice & Young, integrated marketing firm, as account coordinator.

• John V. Mock has joined Clinical Computing Inc. as vice president of sales and marketing.

• Sharon Burton has joined Ultimate Staffing as an account manager.

• Jeff Beck has joined HGC Construction as project engineer. Beck is a 2004 graduate of Ohio Northern University, with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.

• Jeanne Cost has joined Caudill and Associates Inc. as an account coordinator in the client services department.

• Dennis McPike and Jerry Howell have joined Total Quality Logistics Inc., a Milford-based third-party freight logistics company, as sales executive trainees. Additionally, Adam McKercher has joined the company as a sales intern.

• David Fonda and Bruce Seyboth have joined DuCharme, McMillen & Associates, as directors of technical services, and Sarah Mohr has joined the firm as senior tax manager.

• Chris Reid has been named a partner in the Assurance and Advisory Business Services practice for Ernst & Young. Reid earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Thomas More College and an master's degree from Xavier University. He is a CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

• John D. Harmon has joined RREEF, real estate investment managers, as a leasing specialist in the Cincinnati property management office.

• Mark F. Schar, a Procter & Gamble veteran, has been appointed to the executive board at Affinnova Inc.

• Cindy Minter has joined HNTB, a national architectural, engineering and planning firm, as director of operations in the new Cincinnati office.

• Julie Weeden has joined Cultural Care Au Pair, a provider of child care and educational exchange, as local child care coordinator.

• James F. Gottman has been named chairman of the Intellectual Property Practice group at Dinsmore & Shohl LLP. Gottman focuses his practice on patent licensing, patent application preparation and prosecution, opinions regarding patentability, patent infringement and validity, as well as related litigation. He was a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for five years.

• The Cincinnati Empowerment Corp. presented the Quality of Life Award to CEC sub-recipient's Nanny's Multi Level Learning Center Inc. and The Urban League of Greater Cincinnati. The Circle of Excellence Award was presented to Procter & Gamble and Kroger Co.

• Corporate Board Member - a leading information resource for senior officers and directors of publicly traded corporations, large private companies, and global 1000 firms - has named Graydon Head & Ritchey one of Cincinnati's top firms, for the fourth year in a row.

• Holland Communications has been named a finalist at the 25th annual Telly Awards in the Retail Store category for the Pella Windows & Doors "General Choices" television commercial.

• Michael E. Deger, a financial adviser with American Express Financial Advisors Inc., has received national recognition by earning the company's Mercury Award for achieving outstanding business production during his first 20 weeks with the company.

• Clopay Building Products, a manufacturer of residential and commercial garage doors, presented A-E Door Sales & Service Inc. its Top Presidential Award for dealer excellence and sales achievement.
