Green Twp. trustees to discuss finances
GREEN TOWNSHIP - Trustees will hold a special meeting at 4:15 p.m. today to discuss recommendations of the Financial Review Committee. The meeting will be held at the Green Township administrative offices, 6303 Harrison Ave.

Wyoming plans honor for late fire chief
WYOMING - The city is planning to rename Water Street in memory of its longtime fire chief, John Wirtz, who died this year.
Wirtz worked for the city for 35 years, including as public works director and waterworks superintendent, before retiring in 1998.
After Wirtz died, the Fire Department asked for a way to honor him, said Mayor David Savage.
"We looked around for something that would be appropriate, and get it into the permanent record. Naming a street was one way to do that," Savage said.
At its Monday meeting, City Council set a public hearing for Aug. 16 to rename the street where Wirtz worked for many years as waterworks chief "Wirtz Way."

Warren County administrator sought

Commissioners on Tuesday announced that they're starting to advertise for Price's replacement. The idea is that that the next administrator will have some time to shadow Price before he retires.
