Big Lots Inc. and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America joined forces to open a state-of-the-art, neighborhood-based learning center at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati's LeBlond Unit.

The celebration of this new learning center is part of an overall three-year, seven figure commitment made by Big Lots to BGCA to help foster positive life values for our nation's youth.

Two-hundred children and 50 grown-ups attended the opening celebration at the club on Logan Street. Guests were able to see the layout of the facility and the technology in the newly constructed learning center. The children enjoyed special gifts, pizza, dancing and music by deejay James Moorer, better known as "Big Daddy James."
